Mary Wojciechowski, a retired visual arts teacher, received her BFA degree from the University of Connecticut. Mary, a signature member of both the New England Watercolor Society and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society where she currently serves as co-president, She is a juried artist in the Cape Cod Art Center as well as the Wickford Art Association and has been a longtime member of the Attleboro Arts Museum. Watercolor has been Mary's principal medium during her painting career with subjects taken frequently from the natural surroundings of her New England home. Most recently, Mary’s art  has often expanded  beyond representational to include a more explorative and experimental approach. Using alcohol ink as an supplemental medium has encouraged this and has had a positive impact on her watercolors as well. Mary’s work has been accepted into many juried exhibitions, local, regional and national, and has has received awards. She is currently represented by Gallery 31 Fine Art, Orleans, MA, True Grit Art Gallery, Middleborough, MA and Fuller Art Gallery, Jamestown and, for the past few years, Mary has happily returned to teaching  as a workshop instructor for many art groups throughout southern New England

Welcome to our new business venture 'Brushstrokes'. For the past few months, my daughter Traci and I have combined our talents and experience to launch a family business using images of my paintings. Using a unique heat transfer process called sublimation, my paintings are reproduced on a variety of surfaces including ceramic tiles, canvas and aluminum. We now have created fine art gifts and home decor such as coasters, art tiles, canvas bags and dry erase boards, each packaged beautifully. If you find items that you would like to purchase, just email us at brushstrokes.tm@gmail.com
